Global Expansion Program
The Establishment phase of our expansion program is the point at which we enter a new territory. We are establishing the brands in that territory via the acquisition of destressed assets and then stablising them and creating the efficiencies inherent in the THG business model.
Our expansion phase starts at around the end of the fourth year, by this time we expand the brands to be well established in the territory with stable revenues and growing customer bases. As part of the expansion program each brand will be given aggressive targets to capture larger market shares in their territory and establish themselves as a top 10 business in their industry.
The entrenchment phase starts at the mid point of the eighth year and is our preparation for the 10 year economic downturns. At this point THG as a whole will be looking at markets and forecasting weaknesses. We will endeavour to mitigate as much risk as possible while also building a capital stack that will allow us to both withstand the on coming storm and acquire distressed assets as the economic downturn takes hold.
